Wild Blueberry Hemp Smoothie

This smoothie is delicious! Packed with nutrition and just full of berry flavor. I had read that hemp was good for you so I wanted to squeeze it in somehow.

Hemp is a super food with many health benefits such as weight loss, increased energy, recovery from disease or injury, reduced inflammation and heart health.

Curious about the relation of hemp and marijuana? I was. They are both species of the cannabis plant. Example; Hemp is to marijuana as chihuahua is to wolf.
 Ingredients


3 Cups Fresh Spinach
1/2 Avocado
1 1/2 Ripe Bananas
1/2 cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 cup Frozen Wild Blueberries
1 cup Vanilla Hemp Milk
1 tsp Hemp seeds
4 ice cubes
Add all ingredients (except hemp seeds) into food processor or blender and blend until smooth.


Add hemp seeds on top or mix into smoothie.

Makes enough for 2.

    I just noticed that you added chihuahua into this blog. Thank you for that. I did't realize there was hemp milk. This is my third take on this. The second version tasted more like yours. Today, now that I have this in front of me... meow! Cake 3! Action!

    3rd batch=success! Well, I had to modify the recipe due to lack of ingredients. I added curves protein powder, used fat free milk instead of hemp milk, and ran out of hemp seeds/substituted with buckwheat groat. It was delish! O, Also, I couldn't fit the kale in the food processor for the first smoovie. After I added it to the second smoovie, the kale made it so much fluffier! I love the fluffy, fruity, cold with crunch combination! Thank you for the inspiration! xoxo
